A unique specialty that's a rarity in todays meat case. Jowl is country cured using the same cure mixture as our Original Style Country bacon (salt, brown sugar, and black pepper). Rind on jowl is great for those who wish to slice it their special thickness. Also great chunked and used for seasoning in vegetables and soups. Average weight per package is 1/2 to 1 and 1/4 lbs.
